  • Painted from life (plein air) and then completed in the artist’s studio.
  • Signed by the artist in oil on the front.
  • Medium: oil on panel
  • Dimensions: (H x W x D): 22.9cm x 30.5cm x 0.5cm

Please note that there is a slight dent on the bottom right corner of the panel but this should easily be hidden when the painting is framed. Please see the second and third images in the image gallery where this is easiest to see.

Sold unframed but please contact me if you would like help with framing the piece.

Description

I started painting this piece from life in the picturesque village of Givrins, Switzerland before finishing the painting back in my studio.

I loved the way the bright sunlight shifted across the street as I worked and the colours of the Auberge shutters and parasols made for a really interesting piece.
